Frank Lampard confirms Everton in discussion with Jordan Pickford for contract extension
Frank Lampard has confirmed that Everton are in discussions with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford over another contract extension.
The 28-year-old is a seasoned campaigner and now has less than two years left on his current deal at Goodison Park.
Lampard, while talking to the media, confirmed that there has been movement on contract extension talks with the goalkeeper after his tremendous form in recent years.

“The club are speaking with Jordan,” he said.
“He is a massive player for us, everyone wants him to stay and Jordan is very happy here.”
Important
Everton are going through a transitional phase where there are a lot of players coming in and leaving at the same time.
During the ongoing transfer window, the Merseyside club have already lost their most prolific striker in Richarlison who has joined league rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Not only there but there are rumours about the future of star winger Anthony Gordon with Manchester United and Chelsea competing for the signature of the youngster.

Therefore, it is important that the Toffees find a way to keep their best player in Pickford at the club who has been one of the most consistent performers for the club over the last few seasons.
The 28-year-old has been an Everton player since the summer of 2015 when he moved from Sunderland in a deal worth £25.6 million.
Since then, he has played 201 matches for the club across all competitions where he conceded 289 goals but managed to keep 54 saves as well [Transfermarkt].
