Pundit slams Anthony Gordon in first half of Everton v Nottingham Forest
Anthony Gordon was slammed in the first half of the Everton Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.
Midway through the first 45, the Englishman had the chance of registering a shot or setting up a teammate with three players inside the box.
However, instead of controlling a relatively simple pass he received from Nathan Patterson, he dummied it and the ball was easily intercepted.

Speaking on the Premier League world feed, a pundit said of Gordon, “Gordon’s trying to be clever there. There was no reason to do that.”
Unnecessary
Gordon is one of the few players in this team who can make something happen and moments like these aren’t helping anyone.
He’s looked lively throughout the half, but his end product is what’s let him down time and again.
He is a key player in the final third and he’s got to play with more maturity and live up to his very high billing.
We’re hoping that Frank Lampard has a talk with him at the break and urges him to get his head down as he’s undoubtedly going to be pivotal if Everton do manage to break the deadlock.
Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray have both looked sharp today and so has Nathan Patterson so we’re expecting a second half of a dominating performance.
Forest have done well enough, to their credit and a point from Goodison Park will be a good result for them but a bad one for the Toffees.
