Idrissa Gueye wants PSG ‘contract termination’ after Everton reach agreement

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Idriss Gueye wants to his terminate his contract at the French club as he wants to join Everton this summer, as per RMC Sport.

The French publication reported on their website via their live blog on 24 August (13:57 pm) that Gueye had reached an agreement with the Toffees several days ago.

However, the Toffees are yet to reach an agreement with PSG, and it has currently stalled.

Everton

Drags on

This is one transfer that could drag on till the final few days of the window, if not till the deadline day.

Everton have been very active in the transfer market but they still need to add a solid midfielder and a striker, and possibly another attacking midfielder.

At the same time, the club could offload the likes of Andre Gomes while rising talent Anthony Gordon could leave the club to join Chelsea on a big-money transfer fee.

It seems the Senegal international doesn’t want to stay at PSG either, and he is looking to return to his former club.

Gueye would be a terrific addition to the club. While he is not the same player anymore, given his age, he is still expected to deliver.

He still has got legs, stamina and skill to thrive in Everton midfield. He will add quality and depth to the middle of the park and help the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure and Tom Davies to flourish.
