Everton firesale on the cards as four more players could leave after Dele Alli – Sky Sports
By Liam Thomas
Everton have picked up from where they left off last season; lacking pivotal points and lingering near the drop.
Now it seems numerous Everton midfielders could be leaving Goodison Park by the end of the transfer window as well as Dele Alli, who’s joined Besiktas, and Chelsea-linked Anthony Gordon, according to Sky Sports.
It is understood that midfielders Niels Nkounkou, Allan and Jean-Philippe Gbamin could all leave Frank Lampard’s team before the summer transfer window closes in less than a week’s time on 1 September.

A loan move is mooted for Nkounkou whereas Sky Sports suggest permanent moves are on the cards for Allan and Gbamin if replacements are signed.
Mending the Engine room
Manchester United starlet James Garner provides Frank Lampard’s side with an interesting solution to their midfield problems.
Born on Merseyside the youngster already has close links to the club and has shown his class in the Championship last season for Nottingham Forest.

He could well replace the youthful spark that Gordon will be taking with him to London.
Another option to bolster Everton’s midfield is Paris Saint-Germain wantaway and former Evertonian Idrissa Gana Gueye.
PSG are reportedly stalling this transfer saga, which will ultimately drag on until deadline day, however, not all hope is lost for Everton to get their man. [RMC Sport]
Gueye is already Premier League proven and his eagerness to move back to Goodison Park is the kind of spirit every Toffee craves.
Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus is perhaps the most interesting proposition to mend Everton’s flailing engine room.
The 22-year-old is comfortable playing in the number 10 role or out wide if needed; versatility that is essential in modern football.
However, the exciting Ghana international’s move to Merseyside could be halted due to Ajax winger Antony’s move to Manchester United. [The Times]
It’s not just the midfield that Lampard has to sort out, the club’s attacking options have become very limited too; expect a busy deadline day for the former Chelsea boss.
