Everton set to finalise £20m+ transfer to sign Ben Brereton-Diaz
Everton are set to finalise the £20million+ signing of Blackburn striker Ben Brereton-Diaz over the next week, according to 90min.
The online outlet has reported that the Toffees will pay a guaranteed £17.5million with add-ons taking the figure up to and maybe beyond that total fee for the Championship side.
The Chilean international is now in the final year of his contract at Ewood Park, and is set to get his Premier League move to solve the striker woes of Frank Lampard.

Everton look to have won a very busy race for his signature.
Leeds United, Southampton, Bournemouth, Wolves and West Ham were all said to be interested, although it’s the mighty Blues that look set to win the race.
A second new forward is also on the cards before the deadline next Thursday [01 September], with talks ongoing for other names in the Goodison Park boardroom.
Serhou Guirassy and Bamba Dieng are just two of the names in contact with the club with decisions to be made after getting Brereton-Diaz over the line.

Here We Go.
This is the moment we have all been waiting for.
It has taken far too long, but it looks as though Brereton-Diaz will offer immediate help to solve our shocking crisis in the final third as things stand.
Anthony Gordon has been playing in that number nine role, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin injured and Salomon Rondon simply not trusted as good enough to start.
Brereton-Diaz will relish the chance to start in the Premier League and prove himself as the number nine that he wants to be, although his ability to play on the left-wing as well also helps.
Lampard will love that versatility and the fact that the Chilean international can play alongside Calvert-Lewin once he returns if that’s what he wants to do.
All eyes are now on Brereton-Diaz and Merseyside, with this move wanting to be completed as soon as possible, with his first Everton outing possibly at Leeds next week – wouldn’t a goal there be brilliant?
Bring it on.
