Kaveh Solhekol: James Garner and Ben Brereton-Diaz could now follow Neal Maupay through door at Everton
Kaveh Solhekol has shared that more signings are on the way at Everton after a deal for Neal Maupay was confirmed and announced in the past 24 hours.
The Sky Sports journalist named both Blackburn striker Ben Brereton-Diaz and Manchester United maestro James Garner as two possible arrivals at Goodison Park.
Frank Lampard has been busy in recent weeks with numerous new arrivals, although speculation surrounding Anthony Gordon is likely to only increase in the coming days.

Speaking live on Sky Sports during their club-by-club round, as shared on their blog, Solhekol shared what to expect next at Goodison Park.
“More signings could be on the way,” he said.
“Including James Garner and Ben Brereton-Diaz.”

Most needed?
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin nearly back from injury, Brereton-Diaz would likely only be pursued should Gordon finally seal his exit before Thursday [01 September].
Garner would make much more sense.
As things stand, we don’t have that player in the middle of the park who can get on the ball and dictate the play with just his passing alone and that could be Garner.
Amadou Onana is a powerful runner and will be a brilliant weapon in each third, but he needs that holding man alongside him who can sit and let him do that, while also distributing the ball around the park.
Tom Davies and Abdoulaye Doucoure can’t do that every single week, and that has become a problem with teams able to keep the ball against us far too easily.
Garner can be that man and he is said to be available, it’s time for Everton to make that move before it is too late.
