Everton want to sign Wolves forward Hwang Hee-Chan, may need to make Conor Coady move permanent first

Everton now want to sign Wolves forward Hwang Hee-Chan in the final days of the transfer window, according to David Ornstein.

The Athletic journalist has reported that a move for the South Korean may require the Toffees to turn Conor Coady’s move into a permanent switch first.

That would suggest that a move for Hwang would be an initial loan switch, as Premier League clubs cannot loan more than one player from the same club.

Writing in his latest column for The Athletic, Ornstein shared the latest news regarding a possible last-gasp move to strengthen the final third.

“Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Hwang Hee-chan is another option,” he wrote.

“Although this may require Conor Coady’s loan move to Goodison Park to be made permanent.”

Get it done.

Coady has enjoyed a good start to life at Goodison Park, and his experience alongside James Tarkowski has certainly helped transform our fortunes slightly.

Now it is all about improving our options in the final third, and Hwang would come in with brilliant Premier League experience to help out at the other end.

Lampard will be looking for Farhad Moshiri to make a difference with some big moves in these coming days before the window slams shut on Thursday [01 September] and this would be the perfect start.

With Neal Maupay coming in this window, he has solved our striker crisis, but exit talk surrounding Anthony Gordon more and more, something more needs to be done very soon.

Everyone will know that, and there will be many developments expected in the coming hours and days at Goodison Park as we look to get this over the line.

Hwang is now one to watch at Everton.
