Everton starting line-up v Leeds United: Mason Holgate axed
Everton have named a strong starting line-up for their Premier League clash against Leeds United on Tuesday night (30 August) at Elland Road.
The Toffees are yet to win a single game in the league, and they are heading into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Brentford in the previous game.
Frank Lampard has made just one change from the last game. Tom Davies has come into the side in place of Mason Holgate.
Holgate, the 25-year-old defender, who has made 144 appearances for the Toffees, is a senior player at the club in terms of experience. However, Lampard has added a midfielder in his place for this game.
Get a win
While all the focus is on the transfer market at the moment, the Toffees must focus on matters on the pitch.
Frank Lampard’s side have played well so far, but they are yet to pick up three points from their games.
Against Brentford, it looked like they will register their first win, but conceded a goal in the 84th minute.
Leeds, on the other hand, are heading into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Brighton.

The Whites have started the new season well under Jesse Marsch, having picked up two wins and a draw already.
They have beaten Chelsea and Wolves at home, and also won 3-1 against Barnsley in the EFL Cup at home.
One of the major criticism against Lampard is that he hardly gets wins away from home. If the Toffees are to get into the top half of the table, those stats need to change.
