Everton revive interest in Watford forward Joao Pedro in potential £30m deal
Everton have revived their interest in Watford forward Joao Pedro and are “desperate” to add another striker before the window closes, say the Daily Mail.
The Toffees have already added Neal Maupay and Dwight McNeil to their squad this summer in attack, but after losing Richarlison they are keen to add one more to their ranks.
Lampard and Everton made an enquiry last week [90min, 23 August] when Pedro looked close to joining Newcastle, who eventually pulled out of the deal to sign Aleksandar Isak in a £60m deal instead.

Their bid of £25m plus £5m in add-ons was expected to be enough to get a deal done, and Everton are now expected to return before the deadline to try and get a deal done.
The club have also shown an interest in a number of other forwards, showing their intent of getting a deal done in the final days.
Huge
Pedro is a hugely talented and special young player that would be a perfect signing for the profile that Everton want to have at the club.
The Brazilian has got lots of first-team experience despite his lowly age of just 20-years-old, and is capable of playing across the front three to a good level.

He’s quick, skilful, a direct threat against his opponents and is a good finisher when given the opportunity. He’d be an investment for the future, in a similar way that Richarlison was when he joined from Watford.
Everton may have added two attacking players to the squad already but it’s clear as day they need more and Pedro would be a fine addition at a relatively modest price considering his potential and talent.
Rondon is clearly not fancied and Dominic Calvert-Lewin has got injury problems consistently, so more depth is needed but the club do not have a lot of time to get it done and must work quickly as they also look to finalise a deal for Idrissa Gueye to return.
