Dele Alli could revive his Everton career after scoring for Besiktas
Everton loanee Dele Alli scored for Besiktas against Ankaragucu as his side won 3-2 in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday (4 September).
Frank Lampard told the 26-year-old midfielder that he should rediscover the focus that made him one of the best young talents when he arrived on the scene.
His move to Everton from Tottenham didn’t pan out well, and he was loaned out to Besiktas this summer, as Lampard made a raft of new signings to bolster his squad.

Many thought that Alli would play a big role for the Toffees this season, but Lampard probably has made the right call. There was little evidence to suggest that he could deliver for the club after he joined in the January transfer window.
This loan spell could be a game-changer for him. He was getting bad to worse since Mauricio Pochettino had left Tottenham. It has reached a stage where he has become a laughing stock among the fans.
One could clearly see that he has lost his focus. There was no application from him. The confidence was not there.

Jose Mourinho spotted that he has become a different version of Dele Alli, and Antonio Conte had a similar opinion.
Harry Redknapp urged Lampard, as per The Mirror (2 September) to take a gamble on Alli and it has not worked.
There is no guarantee that Alli will still have a future at Everton. However, this season can change everything.
He has made a bright start in a different country, and that should give him the confidence to enjoy a successful season. If he can do that, Lampard will be forced to make a bold decision about him next summer.
But he needs to give Lampard something to think about.
