Adana Demirspor want to sign Everton striker Salomon Rondon before end of transfer window in Turkey
Turkish club Adana Demirspor are eyeing a move for Everton striker Salomon Rondon, according to The Times.
The 32-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park despite the Toffees having only two other out-and-out forwards in the squad.
As per the latest report, Demirspor are looking to make a move for Rondon before the end of the transfer window in Turkey on 8 September (today).

The report further stated that Everton are ready to let the former Newcastle striker leave for nothing by releasing him, maybe because of a possible return of Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the near future.
Tricky
Rondon’s future at the club remains in doubt because of his lack of productivity in the final third, especially after the arrival of Neal Maupay from Brighton in the last few days of the transfer window.
However, one thing the 32-year-old is famous for is putting his more than 100 per cent every time he takes the field which makes him a very useful component for any team to have.

Therefore, letting him go at a time when Calvert-Lewin is still in a recovery phase from an injury is going to be a tricky decision and it will be interesting to see whether it will turn out to be the correct one.
Rondon was signed by the former Everton manager Rafa Benitez in the summer of 2021 as a free agent.
Since then, the Venezuela international, who is in the final year of his contract and has 36 goals to his name in the Premier League, has represented the Merseyside club in 27 matches across all competitions where he has managed to score three times and provided an assist as well [Transfermarkt].
