Everton target Mykhaylo Mudryk has revealed his aspirations to move to the Premier League and also to join Arsenal.

The Shakhtar Donetsk winger was targeted by both clubs over the summer and they even continued pursuing his services right until transfer deadline day.

Everton even made an offer which was turned down by the Ukrainian as the 21-year-old had his heart set on moving to the London Stadium.

He told CBS Sports' Ben Jacobs, "Yes of course. Every guy dreams about Premier League.

"It's hard to say [which club] but Arsenal is a very good team. I like the way they play.

"From my side, I can't say no [to Arsenal] but it's not only my decision."

Tough to get

It is not going to be easy to sign the Ukraine international who is currently on the rise.

He's doing well in the Champions League as well so there's no surprise why there is so much speculation over his future.

From his interview, he candidly reveals that a Premier League switch is something that he would fancy and as he was asked about Arsenal, he said he would fancy moving there.

However, there are no guarantees that the Gunners may still want the winger who is expected to cost £30million in the winter. [football24tv]

This opens the door for the Toffees to make a big-name attacking signing - something they were eyeing over the summer as well.

Should they go on a good run of form until then and Arsenal not show an interest in securing his services, it does make sense for Everton to make one final attempt to try to sign the player.
