Mohammed Kudus forgiven by Ajax fans after refusing to train to force Everton transfer
Ajax fans look to have forgiven Mohammed Kudus already after he tried to force a move through to Everton towards the end of the window, according to Mike Verweij.
The De Telegraaf journalist reported that the Ghanaian international refused to train after the Toffees place a multi-million-pound bid to get a deal over the line.
Kudus has not let that get his head down and his goal and Man of the Match display in the 4-0 win over Rangers appears to have won back the fans on his side.

Writing in his latest column for De Telegraaf, Verweij shared the reaction of the home crowd to the electric Ghanaian on the biggest stage of them all.
“That Alvarez and Kudus skipped training in the final week of the transfer market to force a transfer to Chelsea and Everton respectively, they were naturally forgiven by the fans at once,” he wrote.

Not good.
Ajax giving Kudus this platform in the Champions League as the main man is not great news.
Playing and scoring in that number nine role, even if against Rangers, is a sign that the Dutch club are ready to put their faith in the African attacker, and that could see him want to stay.
It was a great goal he managed to grab too last night, beating the defence all ends up for pace before smashing an unstoppable drive across Jon McLaughlin and off the post and in.
Kudus was said to have gone on strike to force through a move to Goodison Park with personal terms being agreed towards the end of the summer window [Daily Mail].
He was certainly more than the star in the Champions League for Ajax, so it is easy to see why the Toffees were interested, and why the Dutch side wanted to keep him.
This is certainly one to keep an eye on though between now and January, who knows? Frank Lampard could yet be plotting another move for the attacker, not many would say no to that at Everton.
