Everton duo Jordan Pickford and Anthony Gordon would make Premier League all-star game
Everton have enjoyed a very structured Premier League ever since it began in 1192 but that hasn’t stopped Todd Boehly making a suggestion.
The new Chelsea owner, who hails from the United States of America, brought up the possibility of staging a Premier League all-star game similar to that of the MLS where the entire league combines to take on one of the world’s biggest clubs.
An entire Premier League XI would crush any team that came its way so Boehly suggested that an intra-league match between north and south would be a better fit for British shores.

“People are talking about why don’t we have more money for the pyramid?” Boehly said, as quoted by the Mirror. “MLB did their all-star game this year.
“They made $200m from a Monday and a Tuesday, you could do a North vs South all-star game from the Premier League to fund the pyramid very easily.”
If such an idea was passed by the Premier League and the FA, then two Everton players should immediately be considered as shoo-ins for the squad.
Jordan Pickford, on current form, is perhaps the best goalkeeper in the entire division and his fantastic ability with his feet should fit in nicely with the Manchester City titans that would undoubtedly play a part.

The second, but perhaps less certain, option would have to be Anthony Gordon who has almost single-handedly carried the spirit of Goodison Park on his back this season.
The infectious enthusiasm he brings to any team he plays for is something the north would not be able to leave out even if it meant he started the game on the bench.
As for the manager, Frank Lampard may have a better chance at playing than being the man in the dugout with Pep Guardiola being an option.
