Everton could sign Daichi Kamada in January in cut-price deal
Everton could make a move for Japan international Daichi Kamada in a cut-price deal in the January transfer window, according to the Liverpool ECHO.
The Toffees added seven first-team players to their squad during the summer including attackers Dwight McNeil and Neal Maupay.
But after the club failed with late moves to sign Joao Pedro and Mohammed Kudus from Watford and Ajax respectively, they are likely to return to the market in January and Frankfurt ace Kamada has emerged as a potential target.

With four goals and three assists in the first six games of the season Kamada has attracted interest from several club, and with his contract expiring next summer the Bundesliga club could be open to cashing in during January’s window.
Everton could look to take advantage of that by securing a cut-price deal, and providing greater depth and competition in their attack alongside the likes of Anthony Gordon and Demarai Gray too.
Talent
Lampard obviously has a very clear image in his head about what he wants his squad to look like and what he wants them to be able to do on the pitch, and he’s signing players in accordance with that.
For the first time in a while there seems to be a plan at the club, and fans are trusting Lampard because of his performances since taking over which saw the team avoid relegation and make a relatively good start to the season so far.
Kamada is 26-years-old and has got experience of European football as well as having been a regular in the Bundesliga for a number of seasons now.
He is versatile and able to play across the attacking midfield positions, while possessing an excellent final pass and having a good eye for goal. He’s also a great presser and has a terrific work ethic off the ball, and all of that together would make him an ideal fit for Lampard’s team.
If he doesn’t pen a new deal between now and January, the club should make serious moves towards trying to get him on a free transfer for next summer and if they’re successful then maybe offering Frankfurt a bit of cash to get a deal done early won’t be too difficult either.
