Everton must sign sleek Napoli winger Hirving Lozano in January to fill Richarlison void
Everton must make a move for Napoli’s Hirving Lozano after Spanish news outlet Marca broke the news this week that the Toffees were in the running to sign him; he can fill the Richarlison void.
The 27-year-old isn’t getting the game time he craves at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and is looking for a way out this winter.
The winger nicknamed “Chucky” is reportedly being chased by four teams; Everton, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and RB Leipzig, However, the Blues have an advantage in the race for his signature.
The 27-year-old shares the same agent as Everton starlet Anthony Gordon, something that could be used as leverage, according to the Liverpool Echo.
It’s believed the winger would cost the Toffees around £26.8milllion (€30milllion), a solid price for a player with the experience and talents of Lozano; there’s far worse on the market at the moment.
Lozano is a hero of the Mexican national team, scoring 16 goals in 59 appearances for his country and could be the perfect attacking reinforcement Frank Lampard is craving.
There’s been a certain void left at Goodison Park by a pigeon-looking Brazilian and the Mexican may be the man capable of filling it.

Lozano would be the perfect replacement for Richarlison, who left the club in search of Champions League football this summer, joining Tottenham.
Neal Maupay has had a fantastic start to life at Goodison Park, nevertheless, his past imperfect form leaves the Toffees vulnerable up top if he repeats this again.
The silky smooth winger has proven he can play at the elite level for countless years, so there’s no doubt he could translate this form to the tough Premier League.
And his limited opportunities to play at Napoli may give the Blues the green light they need to secure his signature.
Lampard has been vocal in his efforts for Everton to secure more attacking reinforcements and he’s not wrong in doing so, the Blues do need as many as they can possibly get.
Richarlison has never been fully replaced, Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury record limits him from being a threat and Maupay lacks the statue to carry the forward line on his back.
