
Everton youngster Ishe Samuels-Smith may be ready for Premier League soon
Everton youngster Ishe Samuels-Smith is reportedly working with Chelsea an Arsenal legend Ashley Cole to get himself first-team ready at Goodison Park.
According to the Guardian, the 16-year-old appears to be on the cusp of a first-team breakthrough and working with legends like Leighton Baines and Cole is only going to further help his cause.
It’s a good thing for the Toffees that they’ve got the former Chelsea and Arsenal defender to the club as he’s arguably the greatest Premier League left-back of all time.

In the Premier League youngsters piece on Guardian, their journalist Andy Hunter wrote of Samuels-Smith, “The 16-year-old has impressive technical qualities and is very composed offensively and defensively. He is comfortable stepping into space with the ball and has an excellent passing range. Everton’s coaches consider him an exciting prospect who could mature into a dominant and robust defender.”
At 16, Samuels-Smith appears to possess the tools needed to be a successful left-back in senior football today.
He’s confident with the ball at his feet and is not afraid to drive forward and make things happen.
The teenager also appears to be confident with the ball at his feet and that’s an important as aspect as most teams want to play out from the back.
Hopefully, his experience with the Arsenal legend helps him get to where he should be in the coming few years and we will not be surprised if he makes his senior debut by 2024.
Cup games are perfect for experimenting teenagers and if he impresses for the Everton under-18s as well as gets national junior call-ups there’s nothing to stop him.
