Everton loanee Moise Kean now 'unrecognisable' after Juventus U-turn

Moise Kean was a big topic of conversation for Everton fans over the summer as Juventus tried to offload him one year before his loan expired.

According to Calcio Mercato, however, the Italian international is now “unrecognisable” from the player that flopped in Turin last season after a long off-season of hard work.

He has now become an integral part of Massimo Allegri’s plans at the Juventus Stadium with the Old Lady now likely to pay the buyout fee in his loan move that was put in as a mandatory clause by Everton.

It will be nearly £25million that Juve have to part with to sign Kean permanently in the summer as no club wanted to come in and pay off his loan in the transfer window just gone.

The 22-year-old has made eight appearances so far this season in the Serie A and Champions League although he is yet to start in Europe’s premier club competition.

Unpredictable

Having Kean in your squad can be both a blessing and a curse and that has been the case for his entire career so far after being touted as a potential wonderkid as a 16-year-old.

One day, he could be the player who single-handedly wins you a game and looks like a genuine world-class talent but he tends to then follow that up with a performance that makes non-league players look like Champions League winners.

That is arguably the only thing Kean needs to sort out to make his career really kick on because there is no doubt that the ability is in there somewhere, he just needs to find a way to unlock it on a much more regular basis.

Goodison Park never looked like being the place where he could do that but in a second spell at Juventus, he is starting to show that he can be a regular feature of a team and contribute effectively.

It won’t be any loss to Frank Lampard, though, when Juve pays the cash to Everton next summer.
