Everton defender Conor Coady hilariously reacts to Amadou Onana’s Instagram post

Everton defender Conor Coady has hilariously reacted to teammate Amadou Onana’s Instagram post on Sunday evening, highlighting the squad’s current close bond.

The Blues took the three points back to Merseyside with them on Saturday afternoon after a convincing 2-1 win against Southampton.

Onana confessed on his Instagram that the win was “massive” and admitted he was happy to help the team with an assist for his “dad” Coady.

Everton defender Coady hilariously replied to Onana’s post saying “Thank you Son”, with the pair seeming to strike an unlikely friendship since joining Frank Lampard’s ranks this summer.

The growing bonds between players in the squad seem to be helping the team’s performances on the pitch and the Toffees are looking revitalised in recent games.

No-nonsense.

Coady’s no-nonsense style of playing seems to be seeping through the first team, molding and shaping the youth within it to battle for everything possible.

It’s nice to see the Blues finally have some leadership qualities in what was a disjointed setup last term, Coady is providing this in abundance.

His parent club Wolves have been suffering badly since they let him go on loan to Everton for the season and it seems his qualities were essential to their team also.

The defender has formed the current best centre-back partnership in the league with fellow summer signing James Tarkowski and the Blues are reaping the rewards of it.

Lampard will be licking his lips at the fact he got Coady in such a good deal, the 29-year-old clearly still has plenty to give on and off the pitch.

Hopefully, this fine form continues and the Toffees can get Coady signed permanently at the club after this campaign concludes.
