Frank Lampard provides exciting update on Everton summer signing James Garner
Everton boss Frank Lampard has provided an update on summer signing James Garner, claiming the midfield maestro is ready to go.
The Blues signed Garner from Manchester United this summer but the midfielder has yet to feature for Lampard’s team.
Lampard admitted he is “excited” to watch Garner play for his team in the Premier League and hinted that fans may see the youngster in action soon.

“He’s completely ready to go,” said Lampard as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
“And the way he’s training, I’m excited to see him play and get him in the team.”
The Everton bosses’ comments bode well for Garner’s future in the Everton first XI and he may even make an appearance against Manchester United on Sunday evening.

It’s time.
Garner impressed during a season-long deal with Nottingham Forest last season, and now Everton must reap the rewards of the exciting young midfielder.
The ball-playing midfielder now deserves a chance to stake his claim in Lampard’s first XI, something that will be tough with the current starting midfielder’s form.
Alex Iwobi, Idrissa Gueye and Amadou Onana have been in freighting form for the Toffees, nevertheless, Garner can add a different dimension to this engine room three.
There is no better opportunity for Garner to make his Blues debut than this weekend against Manchester United, a team he knows well.
The midfielder impressed during the international break with the England U21s and now has the fitness to keep up with the frantic Premier League pace.
For now, Garner will have to make do as a solid option off the bench for the Blues, but he has the ability to cause Lampard some selection headaches in the future.
