Everton sent scouts to keep eye on Crystal Palace talent Junior Dixon

Everton are one of the clubs that are showing keen interest in Crystal Palace youngster Junior Dixon, according to a report from The Telegraph.

Mike McGrath wrote for the paper on 7 October that Borussia Dortmund, who brought Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho to Germany, are looking to lure the youngster away from Selhurst Park.

The Toffees are among the English clubs who have sent scouts to keep a close eye on Palace’s one of the most “exciting” young talents.

Long-term plans?

The young forward has been attracting interest following his brilliant form in the Premier League Under-18 competition.

Dixon has topped the scoring charts with seven goals this season, and it’s no wonder that so many clubs are already sniffing around him.

Belgian club KRC Genk have also shown interest in the teenager who could leave the club at the end of the season.

In such a scenario, Palace will receive compensation for nurturing the young talent.

The youngster has been at Palace since the age of 13 and has been playing the Under-18 side for the past two seasons. He is very highly rated and has been working with Rob Quinn’s team.

Frank Lampard has bolstered the attacking areas in the summer by adding Neal Maupay from Brighton.

However, he probably feels that the club need to bring in more young attacking talents. Dixon is a brilliant talent, and the Toffees are likely to keep a close eye on him this season.
