Dwight McNeil sends strong message ahead of Everton v Manchester United
Everton winger Dwight McNeil has sent a strong message ahead of their Premier League clash against Manchester United on Sunday (9 October) at Goodison Park.
McNeil, who spent his youth career at Manchester United, scored his first goal for the Toffees when he netted in the 2-1 win over Southampton last week.
He has suggested that the Toffees do have quality players in their ranks, and there won’t be a feeling of an inferiority complex in the team.

“We look at the players rather than their transfer fees, we try to assess their strengths and weaknesses and how we can exploit what they are not good at,” says McNeil, as quoted by The Daily Mail (9 October, page 142).
“There won’t be any feeling of inferiority. Every team in the Premier League has top players. United do, so do we. We know the outcome we want.”
Three points
The Toffees should be aiming for all three points today.
Frank Lampard’s side are in good form at the moment, and they should not fear anybody at Goodison Park.
They have earned a respectable 0-0 draw against Liverpool at this iconic venue, and there is no reason why they can’t go in a positive frame of mind and pick up all three points.
Furthermore, the squad will be in full confidence following their back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

McNeil should now be looking to play with more freedom after he got his first goal. He is an exciting player to watch, and he should be aiming to improve his numbers.
The former Burnley man has got skills and talent, and what he needs now is consistency. If he can score regularly or provide assists and involve in goalscoring opportunities, then the Toffees can expect to do well this season.
United lost their previous league game against Man City. They will be looking to bounce back to winning ways, but the Toffees do not need to fear anybody.
