Frank Lampard confirms Everton team news v Newcastle United in Premier League
Frank Lampard has confirmed his latest team news as Everton get set to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on Wednesday 19 October.
The Toffees will be looking to return to winning ways at St James’ Park after falling to two consecutive defeats against Manchester United and Spurs.
Confirmed in his press conference via Twitter by Joe Thomas, Lampard shared that Mason Holgate will return to the squad but Yerry Mina will once again miss out through injury.

“Mason Holgate is in the squad for Newcastle after his injury, Yerry Mina not yet ready after setback,” he said.
Win needed?
Despite losing at Spurs, there were certainly many positives to take away from that game.
If chances were taken by the likes of Demarai Gray and Amadou Onana, Everton could have been a couple of goals to the good before Harry Kane did what he did.
Lampard will finally start welcoming back injured players in the coming weeks which will help the squad massively, with Anthony Gordon also back available after serving his suspension last time out.
Getting more from Dominic Calvert-Lewin will also be a priority as he tries to get out of his rut on and off the pitch with constant issues appearing to hold him back at Goodison Park.
Newcastle will certainly not be easy though with St James’ Park rocking right now, especially with their money spent over the last year, which has worked wonders.
You never want to get into a run of not picking up points in the Premier League, so ending this run here before it really starts going will be critical.
Bring it on.
