Ben Godfrey reacts as Alex Iwobi shares IG post after Everton win v Crystal Palace
Alex Iwobi shared a brilliant message on Instagram after Everton won 3-0 against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday (22 October) at Goodison Park.
The 26-year-old midfielder was outstanding during the game. He provided an assist for the third goal and was everywhere on the pitch.
Ben Godfrey reacted to his post, and described him as “ridiculous”, albeit in a funny way. He meant that Iwobi is playing at a sensational level.

Alex Iwobi wrote: “Two Things I Care About, My Family & My Team!”
Godfrey replied: “Ridiculous”.
Unreal
Iwobi is in the form of his life, and credit goes to Frank Lampard for turning him into one of the best midfielders at the moment.
In the build-up to the third goal, the movement from Iwobi and McNeil was excellent, where the former produced a brilliant pass to set up the goal.
The Toffees are a strong side at home, and they demonstrated once again that they can play some gorgeous football as well.
The midfield duo of Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye has given them stability in midfield.
The two center-backs, James Tarkowski and Conor Coady, have been tremendous for the club, and the Toffees are expected to get better when Godfrey returns from injury.
Having suffered three defeats in a row, the Toffees needed a strong performance, and they delivered.
Danny Murphy has described Iwobi as “sensational”, and he truly has been the best player for Everton this season.
