Jamie Carragher wowed as footage of Everton goal v Crystal Palace dropped live on Sky Sports
Jamie Carragher was left wowed on Sky Sports on Monday 24th October as they dropped footage of Everton scoring their second goal in the win against Crystal Palace.
Anthony Gordon tapped home the goal, but it was the build-up and fan reaction to playing out from the back that Carragher particularly loved watching.
Frank Lampard will have been delighted with the big win at Goodison Park after openly admitting he was disappointed with his side previously in the final third.

Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, as shared on Twitter, Carragher shared footage of the second goal with the crowd playing their part.
“It was Everton’s second goal which was a brilliant goal,” he said. “I think a theme of the show with Sean being on has been the fact of managers adapting.
“He wanted to play a certain way, he wanted to build from the back and it’s always been a bit of a sore point at Everton and maybe getting the crowd on side to buy into that.
“The second goal sums up exactly how he wants his team to play, I’m not going to say anything over this goal, just listen to it and the reaction of the crowd. I love, turn [the fans shouted]. It’s a fantastic goal.”
Incredible.
Lampard really has everyone united at Goodison Park, and matchdays are a wonderful sight to behold right now with the lads full of confidence, especially at home.
Crystal Palace were dominated in every aspect last time out, and it has been a long time since that happened, and long may it continue with this group of players loving life.
Everyone is together in blue, and this clip only proves that with the fans kicking every ball with those 11 players out on the pitch, as Alex Iwobi was told to turn by every last person in there.
It’s great to see pundits and people alike now speaking about the move and goal, rather than the offside and VAR controversy, with Palace passed around as if they weren’t there.
Everton are on the way up, and although not many people will like that, we will just keep smiling along with Lampard as he guides the Toffees up that Premier League table.
