Everton financial accounts update shared after £121m development earlier in 2022
Everton are yet to decide when they will release their financial accounts for the 2021/22 season.
Everton’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB) have asked about when they can expect to see the financial results for last term but it doesn’t seem as though they’re close to being released.
The club says “it would engage with the group and inform them of a release date when one is confirmed”.

Improvement expected.
Everton released their last set of accounts in March 2022 so it’s unlikely that anymore financial reveals will be made until at least the first quarter of next year.
As reported by the Liverpool Echo on 29 March, the Toffees suffered losses of around £121million for the 2020/21 season, which was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abdoulaye Doucoure, Allan and James Rodriguez were also signed during that period, which didn’t help Everton’s Financial Fair Play standing.

But since then, things should have improved.
Goodison Park has been packed to the rafters since the pandemic ended even though we had a near brush with relegation from the Premier League last season.
Transfer business has been more muted but big-money contracts have ended and the £60million sale of Richarlison to Tottenham may also be tied into the next set of accounts.
We’re expecting to see smaller losses in the next set of accounts and while we understand FAB’s eagerness to see the club’s financial results, we doubt it’ll be something that will be made public any time in the next few months.
