Everton knock on door to sign Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Daichi Kamada
Everton have reportedly knocked on Eintracht Frankfurt’s door in order to sign their star attacker Daichi Kamada in January.
According to Fussball Transfers on 2 November, the Japan international, 26, who is set to feature at World Cup 2022, is facing an uncertain future at the Bundesliga club.
It has been reported that he could use the lure of the tournament in Qatar to attract the attention of a big club once the window opens in 2023.

Worth it?
Kamada has been in exceptional form this season and it’s fair to say that he has outgrown the limited challenges posed in the German top flight.
If they’re not at Bayern Munich, players often look for greener pastures overseas and Kamada too, has remained coy over his future.
This season, in 11 league games, he’s bagged seven goals and provided three assists – an impressive return for a mid-table side.
In the Champions League too, he’s scored three goals in six despite Frankfurt not being the favourites to win their group.
However, the fact that they’ve now secured qualification into the Round of 16, he could be looking for a club in Europe’s elite competition.
Everton, despite being keen on signing the Japanese, know that they might find it hard to convince someone who’s already been in the spotlight of the Champions League to move to a club in the lower half of the Premier League.
