Everton team news v Leicester City: Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina both in contention, Nathan Patterson fit to start
Frank Lampard confirmed the Everton team news for the upcoming Premier League clash against Leicester City on Saturday 5 November.
Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina have both been absent since being injured on the opening day defeat to Chelsea, but Lampard confirmed that the former is back on the training pitch, while Mina is also in the later stages of his rehabilitation.
Nathan Patterson came off the bench last week v Fulham after recovering well from an injury he suffered while on national duty, the Scottish right-back has continued his recovery and is fit to start on Saturday.

Lampard confirmed the team news in his pre-match press conference, streamed live via Everton’s YouTube channel (4 November).
“Ben Godfrey is back on the training pitch with the team. Yerry Mina is in the last stage of that as well so he’s very close to being able to play. We’re in a decent position,” said the Everton boss.
A big test
Leicester City will travel to Goodison Park from the relegation zone on Saturday afternoon, but the Foxes can’t be overlooked by Lampard.
Brendan Rodgers’ side endured a horrible start to the season, but they’ve now picked up seven points from their last four, with their only loss in that time coming in a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Much of Leicester’s problems this season have come from poor defending, but there’s been a noticeable switch in their results recently, with Saturday’s opponents conceding just one goal in their last four games – Kevin De Bruyne’s stunning free-kick.
So while breaking down a Leicester team that has conceded 25 goals this season seems easy on paper, it’ll actually be a bigger ask than many realise.
But Everton are in good form themselves and should head into Saturday’s clash full of confidence. The Toffees have also only conceded one goal in their last three and the 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace remains one of the side’s best performances under Lampard.
Hopefully the team shows a similar level of performance on Saturday afternoon.
