Jeff Stelling predicts result of Everton Premier League clash vs Leicester City

Jeff Stelling expects Everton to keep their good momentum going with a positive result against Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees host the Foxes at Goodison Park in the Saturday evening kick-off following their goalless draw at Fulham last weekend, which made it two games without defeat.

And now Sky Sports host Stelling has predicted them to pick up all three points against a struggling Leicester side with a 2-1 win while making his predictions for Super 6 [4 November].

Everton will be looking to build on their good performance against Crystal Palace where they ran out 3-0 winners the last time they were at Goodison.

They’ll have to do it without trio Ben Godfrey, Yerry Mina and Andros Townsend who are all unavailable, although the former two were spotted back in training recently.

Needed

While the performances of the team so far this season have been solid and something to build on, the more points we can rack up the better and that makes a win much-needed here.

Leicester have been struggling all season to build momentum and with the fans behind the team under the lights, Everton should feel very confident of getting a result.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anthony Gordon are pushing for a late call up to the England World Cup squad too so will have a big point to prove, while the defence is among the best performing units in the entire Premier League this season.

Lampard will look to get on the front foot and start quickly, and hopefully we can take advantage of that and turn in a good performance to get the points we need to move away from a crowded bottom half of the table ahead of the looming mid-season break.

It would be ideal for morale and also for team spirit before that break, and prove to everyone that still doubts that the team is heading in the right direction.
