Everton defender Mason Holgate set to miss Premier League clash v Bournemouth
Everton defender Mason Holgate is reportedly set to miss the Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Englishman played in the 4-1 loss to the Cherries in the Carabao Cup but was brought off at half-time.
While injury expert Ben Dinnery claims that he is still being assessed, he is expected to be ruled out for this one.
Injury prone
Holgate has also become one of those at the club who appear to be ruled out due to injury more often than when they’re fit.
He’s not been a reliable custodian at the back for Everton and it’s hard for managers to count on them and plan their squad with them in mind.

There’s a very good chance that Frank Lampard asks the club to cash in on his services in January as it makes no point to keep him in the squad.
Everton have often kept players longer than they should’ve and they have gone on to earn paydays that they don’t quite deserve in the first place.
This is going to be a time-consuming rebuild and we will really be surprised if Holgate is a part of the squad in the future.
He’s had a decent amount of time to prove his worth at Goodison Park and he’s clearly not done that and he should be shown the door.
