Frank Lampard under major sack pressure ahead of Everton v Bournemouth
Frank Lampard faces major sack pressure ahead of Everton’s must-win Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, according to the Daily Mail.
Everton have seen a dip in form that has left them staring down the barrel of despair, two points from the dreaded Premier League drop.
Former Chelsea boss Lampard has had a “rollercoaster 10-month spell” that was summed up in the Tuesday 8th November Carabao Cup clash against Bournemouth and his job is now hanging by a thread.

“On Tuesday night the pressure mounted on Lampard like never before in his rollercoaster 10-month spell as Toffees boss, with a 4-1 thrashing away at Bournemouth dumping them out of the Carabao Cup and leaving his future as manager hanging by a thread,” said Oliver Salt as quoted by The Mail.
“There are no more excuses for Lampard at Everton. He was afforded £80million worth of new recruits over the summer, including £33million midfielder Amadou Onana, and a leaky defence was tightened by the arrivals of James Tarkowski and Conor Coady.”

Gulp.
It’s not looking pretty for Frank right now, another loss to Bournemouth on Saturday would cast serious questions over his Goodison Park reign.
Nevertheless, to suggest Lampard has been backed fully in the transfer window is wrong, the club have never fully replaced Richarlison and this is where their problems lie.
The Merseyside club have no out-and-out goalscorer, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is unfortunately always injured and Neal Maupay isn’t that guy.
The Toffees have a creative midfield that is being faced by Alex Iwobi and they are not making the most of the chances he is creating.
Signing and prolific forward in January solves a heap load of problems for the Blues and it’s an evident glaring hole in the team that needs to be fixed.
Hopefully, Lampard gets backed to keep his job until then, his summer signings of Conor Coady, James Tarkowski and Amadou Onana were shrewd, to say the least.
If he gets more of a say, similar signings can be made to rebuild this all-over-the-place squad.
