Everton starlet Sebastian Quirk flies out to Sydney ahead of Celtic friendly
Sebastian Quirk is among many Everton youngsters to have reportedly been spotted ahead of the flight that took off to Australia on Tuesday, 15 November.
According to the Liverpool Echo, social media posts have shown the midfielder make the trip along with the likes of Tom Cannon, Joe Anderson and Isaac Price.
The Toffees are set to take on Celtic at Sydney on Sunday before they take on Western Sydney Wanderers on Wednesday.
Good for the youngsters
Because of the odd timing of the World Cup, this is almost a pre-season tour for the Toffees and we’re sure that they’ll use it well.
With a handful of players out on international duty, it gives the fringe players and the academy talent a chance to express themselves at the senior level.

One that we’re going to be keeping an eye on is Quirk as there has been some noise about his abilities and he does have a high ceiling.
He’s adept technically and is versatile enough to play in a number of midfield positions – which is something that’ll instantly catch the eye of the senior coaches.
Apart from that, he’s also good at getting into the box and being a goal threat and that’s something that the current crop of Everton midfielders lacks.
We’re not suggesting that Quirk may be ready for a first-team role this season but it’ll be good to see how he copes against a team like Celtic.
