Everton in trouble if fans lead to Jordan Pickford & Alex Iwobi wanting to quit
Everton will be in trouble if fans lead star players like Jordan Pickford and Alex Iwobi to want to quit, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The Blues sit just one point above the dreaded relegation zone with the Premier League season brought to a standstill for the FIFA World Cup.
Jones confessed that fans’ frustrations with Everton players could lead them to be in a “tricky” situation if players like Pickford and Iwobi chose to leave after the toxic scenes following the Bournemouth defeat.

“I understand the frustrations of the fanbase of course, but I don’t think it helps anyone,” said Jones as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“At the end of the day, Everton are going to find themselves in a very tricky situation if players like Iwobi and Pickford are considering whether they even want to be there anymore.”

Rebuild.
The Toffees have to remember they are in the process of a major rebuild and not everything is going to be plain sailing for the foreseeable.
Venting frustrations from the stands to star talents like Iwobi, who has been fantastic this season, by the way, isn’t going to help anyone.
It will only make top talents like himself and Pickford look elsewhere to play their football, who wants to be abused by their own fanbase?
Granted sometimes the performances have left much to be desired but this is a team that was perilously close to sinking to the Championship last season.
If there was ever a time to back the team it’s now, there are plenty of positives to take away from the season so far and obviously areas for improvement.
Investment in key areas will only help matters in January, the failure to do so gives fans the right to question what actually is going on at the club.
Until then, patience is the virtue Blues must take with them to games when the Premier League returns to action.
