US and UK banking sources drop latest investment updates on new Everton stadium

US and UK banking sources have just dropped their latest investment updates on the new Everton Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The construction of the stadium has picked up pace in recent months and the target completion date of the 2024/2025 season is looking ever more likely.

The report claims that Everton have been working with two major financial institutions in JP Morgan and MUFG to try and find potential investment opportunities in the new stadium.

“Everton has been working with two major financial institutions in JP Morgan and MUFG to try and find potential investment opportunities in the new stadium, with the Echo having been informed by US banking sources that there has been interest from potential investors in making such a move. The same sources did, however, stress that nothing was imminent,” as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

“Sources with knowledge of the situation in the UK have said that the club ‘has financing options’ to find the funds to complete the build on time, although the macroeconomic issues that the UK are facing at present means that is in unlikely that anything is done in haste.”

Euro 2028.

The FA dropped their list of stadiums that will be involved in their bid for Euro 2028 and the building site on the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium was surprisingly named.

This bodes well for the completion of the new stadium, which would be the sole representation of Merseyside during the prestigious tournament.

The 52,888 capacity Everton Stadium is set for completion for the 2024/2025 season and will hopefully bring a brighter era of Blues talents along with it.

Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri is taking the majority of the hit for the funding of the stadium but it seems a big chunk of funding still remains outstanding, thus the club looking for external investment.

Whatever the case may be, hopefully, it gets sorted sooner rather than later, the club and fans need no more delays to the stadium being built and completed.

There will likely be a heap load of change at the club by the time the 2024/2025 season comes about, hopefully the Toffees are still pitting it out in the Premier League.
