Besiktas line up January replacement for Everton midfielder Dele Alli

Besiktas have identified a replacement for Everton midfielder Dele Alli should he choose to leave the club in January, according to takvim.

Alli’s career seems to be going from bad to worst in his latest failed loan stint and he looks set to return to Goodison Park and back home from Turkey.

The report claims that Sivasspor midfielder Dia Saba is on the “agenda” to replace Alli at Besiktas when the January transfer window opens.

“Black and Whites, who put Saba on their agenda despite the possibility of Dele Alli’s departure, are fighting with Basaksehir in this transfer,” as quoted by takvim.

“It was stated that the administration, which is considering the transfer to that region due to the possibility of Dele Alli leaving in January, plans to make a move for Saba.”

Over and out.

Is there any point in prolonging Alli’s evident misery in Turkey? It’s time to bring him back to Goodison Park, whether he’ll be a useful asset or not.

It’s a tough ask to go to a completely foreign league and recapture some form and it actually took a lot of balls for Alli to even consider doing this.

It hasn’t worked out for him this time and he didn’t show much of his ability when given the chance to on Merseyside either, so it begs the question, where next for the 26-year-old?

Yes, that’s right, Alli is still only 26, crazy to think considering the number of times he’s played in the Premier League and for his country.

Hopefully, he can get his career back on track soon, Turkey and Besiktas definitely isn’t the place he’s going to get this done though.

There’s still a glimmer of hope that Alli can become a decent cog for Lampard to use at some point and because of this, he must be brought back.
