Everton must make a move for monstrous Udinese forward Beto
Everton must make a move for the Udinese’s towering centre-forward Beto after Calciomercato dropped a report on 28 November 2022 that the Blues are interested in him.
Beto has scored 6 goals in 15 Serie A games for Udinese this campaign, not frightening statistics but his ability to move defenders around with ease makes him an interesting proposition.
Journalist Josh Brunting described Beto as an “intelligent” player on Twitter, claiming the Italian club will get good money for him one day.
“Beto with the equaliser for Udinese at Sassuolo, they will get decent money for him one day,” said Bunting on Twitter.
“Quality player offers more than goals, good hold up play and links play effectively.
“Can pull defenders around with his movement, intelligent.”

Shrewd.
Now Beto isn’t the forward on Evertonians lips to mend the gaping hole Brazilian Richarlison left in the summer but he’s a shrewd shout to do so.
He’d be the perfect alternative to the injury-prone Dominic Calvert-Lewin and offers the same kind of attributes the Englishman provides the Blues with when fit.
The Portuguese forward is fantastic at holding the ball up for his team and standing at a monstrous 6″3 he’s got the kind of figure that would flourish in the Premier League.
The Italian report doesn’t suggest what kind of money the Toffees would have to cough up for Beto, but considering that he is relatively unknown it shouldn’t be beyond reason.
The Blues shouldn’t hold back on going that extra mile anyway for a new forward, the team and Lampard are in desperate need of some new ideas up top.
It’s literally what is holding Everton back this campaign and it’s become pretty clear that the club need to act in January to sort this issue out, Beto may be the answer.
