Dominic Calvert-Lewin may be ruled out of Everton v Wolves Premier League clash – Injury Expert
Dominic Calvert Lewin may be ruled out of the Everton clash against Wolves in the Premier League, despite potentially returning to action during the festive period, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.
The Toffees return to Premier League action against the fellow relegation-threatened side, with Lampard’s side sitting just a point above the drop as it stands.
Injury Expert Dinnery revealed that Everton’s number-nine may potentially return on Boxing Day with his status 50/50 it seems, while Abdoulaye Doucoure and Yerry Mina both have a “50%” chance of playing for the team.

Dinnery also stated that Tom Davies had a “50%” chance of featuring, but James Garner will be out until at least February after sustaining a “lower back injury”.

Worrying news
The news that Calvert-Lewin may be out for the Boxing Day clash will come as a worry to Everton fans, but his potential return in the festive period should please supporters.
If Everton can claim a result against the midlands club and then have the forward return to the side for their New Years’ Eve clash against Manchester City, it could provide them with some much-needed momentum going into the second half of the season.
Sooner-than-expected returns for Mina and Doucoure will add some much-needed bite and experience to the Toffees, who struggled to assert themselves on several games shortly before the World Cup break.
Doucoure in particular could prove himself a vital cog to Lampard for the encounter against Wolves, with Garner now out till February and Idrissa Gueye suspended.
With numerous players out though and a busy period in the League approaching, Lampard will be praying he can bring in fresh personnel during the January transfer window.
