Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford could be tempted to take step up amid Tottenham Hotspur transfer interest
Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford may reportedly be tempted to take the step up amid interest shown by Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Give Me Sport journalist Dean Jones, the England number one is one to keep an eye on ahead of the January transfer window.
He believes that the Spurs interest and them playing in the Champions League makes them an upgrade on the Toffees.

Jones said, “One to look out for is Jordan Pickford, who is in line for the Golden Glove at this World Cup and could be tempted to make a move to a better performing club than Everton. Tottenham are interested.”
Worry?
Pickford leaving the Toffees is undoubtedly a worry for most Everton fans, especially given how shambolic the club has been run.
Farhad Moshiri, despite spending so much, has in fact managed to take the club back a few years rather than modernise it in comparison to teams around them.
Liverpool were woeful at the start of last decade and they are now one of Europe’s top teams and they’ve not really spent more than the Toffees.
Things need to change and Pickford may not want to wait around for them to, which makes a move to Spurs understandable from his point of view.
He will get Champions League football and does appear to be a like-for-like heir to Hugo Lloris who does seem very close to hanging his boots.
It’s understood that the Toffees may also consider his sale if the right price is offered so if Spurs do make a bid that’s too hard to turn down, Pickford could be moving to North London.
