Frank Lampard wants to complete Ismaïla Sarr transfer at Everton
Frank Lampard wants to bring Ismaila Sarr to Everton having held an interest in the player since his time at Chelsea, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
Tutto Udinese reported on December 12 that the Toffees were interested in making a move for the Watford winger in the January transfer window.
Now, journalist Phillips has confessed that there is a genuine “interest” from Lampard in Sarr and this may help get a deal over the line for the winger.

“It’s an interesting link because I know when Frank Lampard was at Chelsea, he [Sarr] was one of the names that he put forward to the Chelsea board when he was looking at attackers,” said Phillips as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“You can be pretty sure that the interest there is legit, especially from Frank Lampard’s side.”

No brainer.
If Lampard has indeed had a long-term interest in Sarr, then making a move for the Watford winger should be a no-brainer for the Toffees.
Sarr is a classy talent and is exactly the kind of pacey wide man Everton need within Lampard’s setup right now, he’d add a different dimension to their attack.
He’s the kind of signing that could be an absolute game-changer, with luck, everything Phillips is saying here is absolute facts.
The fact Chelsea were looking at Sarr says all you need to know about how highly he’s regarded in the modern game and capturing the wingers’ signature would be a real coup for Lampard.
If any manager is able to convince the 24-year-old of the project at Goodison Park it’s the Englishman, Lampard will need to use all those notorious negotiation tactics in this one.
With the January transfer window just around the corner, expect to be hearing Sarr’s name linked with Everton throughout it’s tenure.
