Everton FFP update emerges ahead of January transfer window
Everton are reportedly no longer discussing their financial status with the football association and will not be doing so in the January window as well.
According to the Liverpool Echo [21 December], the Toffees did so on a voluntary basis as they were flirting with FFP sanctions.
However, they were frugal in their spending and avoided being reprimanded by the different authorities including the FA.

Progress
We’re hoping that this is the last the club hears about their finances as it has been a tough few years for them and the fans.
The Toffees were in a bit of a pickle in the summer, but they still did not wait for the Premier League’s green signal before shelling out on transfers.
Not being able to spend in the summer Rafa Benitez was appointed saw Everton drop to new lows and nearly faced relegation from the Premier League because of it.
However, since then, the sales have helped ease the financial burden and more players are likely to be shown the door in January and over the summer.
We’re expecting at least two new players to walk through the door in January and hopefully, one of them is another attacker.
Goals have been hard to come by with the likes of Demarai Gray and Anthony Gordon failing to step up to the plate this season.
