Marco Silva wants reunion with Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure in January
Marco Silva reportedly wants Fulham to sign Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure in the January transfer window.
According to Sky Sports transfer centre [21 December, 13:13], Silva is keen on a reunion with the 29-year-old, having worked with him at two different clubs.
Frank Lampard has preferred to play Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye in midfield which has seen Doucoure making just seven league appearances all season, with the majority being from the bench.

Third time lucky?
Silva has worked with him at Watford as well as Everton and now wants another reunion with him at Craven Cottage.
He seems like the ideal player to implement his tactical plans and we do not see the Toffees having any problem letting him go.
He will free up space on the payroll and also bring in cash that the club can invest in other areas of the pitch in the January transfer window.
To Silva’s credit, a manager Jurgen Klopp admires, he’s doing a good job at Fulham and they’re now ahead of the Toffees and safe from relegation.
Strengthening them would not necessarily mean giving a good player to a rival for league spots so we do not see the hierarchy objecting to this move.
The Toffees have also been given an FFP boost of their own and we’re expecting them to sign at least two first-team players once the window opens.
