Everton defender Ben Godfrey fully fit to face Wolves – injury expert
Everton defender Ben Godfrey is “fully fit” and he is “available” for selection ahead of the Toffees’ Premier League clash against Wolves on Boxing Day, as per Ben Dinnery.
Godfrey managed only 18 minutes of action this season after he fractured his fibula on the opening day of the season against Chelsea.
Injury expert, Dinnery, who also works for The Atheltic, has suggested to Give Me Sport that the Everton medical team has done a terrific job and he is now available for selection.

“He was included in the squad just before, or prior, to the break, and he has featured for the Under-21s as well,” said Dinnery to Give Me Sport.
“He’s training really well, has not been bothered by the injury at all, has done some really good work with the medical department and the physios down there at Everton and has been coming through that.
“So, ultimately, he’s put himself in that window and is fully fit and available for Frank Lampard.”
Huge boost
The 24-year-old is a class defender and Lampard will be delighted to have him back.
He played for Everton’s U-21 side during the World Cup break and it looks like he is closing in on full fitness after returning to training.
The Toffees have been done incredibly well at the back, with summer signings James Tarkowski and Conor Coady making a huge impact.

Jordan Pickford has been in great form once again, and the likes of Vitaliy Mykolenko and Nathan Patterson have done tremendously well for the club.
It will be interesting to see how Lampard uses Godfrey when he has the full squad available.
He can change the system and make it a three-man defence with Mykolenko and Patterson playing as wing-backs. Or else, he can make rotations at the back, although it is far from ideal.
Mason Holgate remains another option for Lampard, but the likes of Yerry Mina and Michael Keane are expected to be sold in January.
