Everton must look to secure signing of £10m-rated Ben Brereton Diaz
Ben Brereton Diaz is one of the major January targets for Everton and he is available for just £10m, according to a report from The Mirror.
The Toffees are looking to bolster their forward department in January and Frank Lampard is searching for a new striker in the market.
Brereton-Diaz has only a few months left on his current deal at Blackburn Rovers and he could be in demand in the January window.
After the departure of Richarlison in the summer, it was thought that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will fill the hole.
However, the England striker once again has struggled with injuries and has barely featured in the first half of the season.
Frank Lampard did sign Neal Maupay in the summer from Brighton, but he has proved to be a massive flop so far.
The Toffees boss could look to bring in academy stars like Tom Cannon into the first team to bolster the forward department, but a new striker is needed.
Ismaila Sarr remains another option but he will cost around £35m and Watford may not be willing to sell either.
In comparison, Brereton Diaz would be a bargain signing for the club. Last season, he scored 22 goals in all competitions, and so far he has netted 10 in 26 games.
At 23, he has plenty of room to improve, and can only get better under proper guidance.
He can score spectacular goals and can get the crowd excited. He could become a new hero at Goodison Park, and the Toffees must get his deal done, especially at that price.
