Sky Sports pundit blown away by Yerry Mina after footage emerges from Everton v Wolves
Michael Bridges was thrilled by the goal Everton defender Yerry Mina scored the opening goal against Wolves on Boxing Day.
Both sides went into the game having not scored a single goal from corners this season, and the Colombian quickly corrected that stat with a well-placed header from close range.
Wolves then went on to score from a set piece themselves and became the final team in the league to do so as they made it 1-1.
Reacting to the Mina goal on the Premier League World Feed, Bridges, a Sky Sports pundit said [26/12, 15:13], “Superb header and a great delivery too. Wolves will be devastated with that defending.”
On his way out?
Mina may have started and found the back of the net but we do not think that it will change anything about his Goodison Park future.
If there is an offer on the table and it meets Everton’s valuation, they surely will consider it and perhaps even cash in on the defender.
The Colombian has seldom been fit and available for selection under Frank Lampard and we think he would be happier if he’s allowed to leave once the window opens.
It’s understood that the Everton hierarchy will make no efforts to keep the centre-back at the club and if he stays, it will be due to the lack of interest.
There is some interest from Inter Milan but it remains to be seen if they can match what the Toffees end up demanding for his services.
