Everton want to sign Anthony Elanga on loan from Manchester United in January
Everton want to sign Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga on a loan deal for the rest of the season, according to the Daily Mail (26 December).
The Toffees are keen to add to their attacking department during the winter window, having scored just 12 goals in 16 Premier League games so far this season.
And Lampard is a big admirer of the Sweden international, with Manchester United yet to make a decision on his future at the club.

Several Premier League teams are interested in the 20-year-old, who is said to be growing frustrated at his bit-part role at Old Trafford despite Jadon Sancho’s woes, Cristiano Ronaldo’s tantrums and Anthony Martial’s fitness problems.
Interest
Elanga broke into the Manchester United side last season under Ralf Rangnick and is well known for his incredible pace and physical attributes.
However he certainly has a lot of the same traits and issues that our current attackers have, and that’s a lack of killer instinct in front of goal.
Since making his debut Elanga has scored four times in 43 appearances for the club, including once against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16.
He has been described as “outstanding” in the past by the Manchester Evening News (21 Jan 2022), but is now behind the likes of Alejandro Garnacho in the pecking order.
He would certainly bring pace and intent to the Everton side if he were to join, and given a run of games in the first-team he could be an improvement upon current options but the priority has to be adding goals to the side and he simply doesn’t do that.
