LAMF Global Ventures not in Everton investment picture as Maciek Kaminski looks at new stadium

LAMF Global Ventures are not in the Everton investment picture for the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Maciek Kaminski is still said to be interested in investing in the new stadium, however, talks have not progressed since where they were left in July.

The Liverpool Echo confessed that takeover talks between Kaminski, Moshiri, Peter Kenyon and John Thornton during the summer have come to “nothing”.

“There has also been takeover talk that has been rumbling on the in the background with Moshiri having been in talks with a US consortium led by real estate tycoon Maciek Kaminski and featuring former Manchester United and Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon, and US oil magnate John Thornton during the summer. Those takeover talks came to nothing and Moshiri has since reaffirmed his commitment to ownership of the club through an open letter to supporters,” as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

“Kaminski is understood to remain interested in investing in the stadium project but talks have not progressed since where they were left in July. Another reported interested party, the special purpose acquisition company LAMF Global Ventures, are understood to no longer be in the picture.”

Everton

Circles.

These new stadium takeover talks and naming rights just seem to be going around in circles at the moment, will they? Won’t they? Who really cares?

As long as the new stadium is up and running for the 2024 campaign then that’s all that matters, none of these dodgy deals Moshiri is conjuring up.

Until then, the Blues need to desperately sort things out on the pitch, getting relegated with a new state-of-the-art stadium en route isn’t a good look.

Imagine playing in the new venue in the Championship? It just doesn’t have the same ring to it as the Premier League and unfortunately, this is where Everton are heading right now.

Results need to improve drastically and bringing in some fresh new talents in January could be the answer to solve the Toffees’ current problems.

Whether or not funds will be freed up to do this remains to be seen, but if the Blues fail to capture any signings next month, then it could be a worrying second half to the season.
