Perry Groves blasts Frank Lampard live on talkSPORT as fresh Everton sack speculation emerges
Perry Groves has blasted Frank Lampard live on talkSPORT saying the Everton boss is tactically not fit to be a Premier League manager.
The Toffees are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment, and Lampard could be facing the sack.
Daily Mail journalist Adam Shergold wrote on 29 December that Farhad Moshiri may have other ideas when it comes to Lampard’s future after the Toffees lost 2-1 against Wolves.

“The thing that would worry me more with Everton is their loss at Bournemouth where they lost 3-0. They were absolutely all over the place, there wasn’t a togetherness there, and there wasn’t a structure,” said Groves on TalkSPORT (30 December, 3:25 to 4:05).
“Frank Lampard tactically isn’t a Premier League manager. When you look at the squad they have, Everton should in a far better position than 17th.”
Pressure
The recent form is really worrying. The Toffees are in free fall at the moment, having picked up just one win in their last eight league games.
The Toffees are without a win in their last four Premier League games, and at some point, the club owners need to make a decision with Lampard if the results do not improve.
The 44-year-old former great England player appears to be a decent manager but he is under a lot of pressure at the moment.

The Toffees will face Manchester City, Brighton, Southampton, West Ham, Arsenal, and Liverpool in their next six games.
Considering the form they are in, it’s hard to see how many points they will pick up from those games, and Lampard could be on his way out by the end of January.
It’s not only about Everton, but Lampard should take a hard look at himself as to why his records away from home have been so poor at all the clubs he has managed in his career.
