Jamie O’Hara predicts result of Everton v Manchester City for talkSPORT
Jamie O’Hara has shared his verdict on the Premier League clash between Everton and Manchester City on December 31 at the Etihad Stadium.
In a game where not much is expected from the Toffees, it’s the perfect opportunity for Frank Lampard to secure a shock win over Pep Guardiola.
O’Hara confessed that the Blues are a “tough” team to face but believes the Citizens simply have too much class to lose in this one.

“Big game, Manchester City are fighting back and need to get big results to get back amongst it and win the title,” said O’Hara speaking on the TalkSport Edge app.
“I think the fact that this is at home, I think Everton are a tough opposition but I don’t think they’ll have enough to get anything from this game, so I’ll go for a 3-0 win Man City.”

Crucial month.
January will be crucial for Lampard and Everton and their season could be broken or made within the testing month for the club.
Obviously, no one expects much from the Manchester City game and it’s tough to get any points off the classy Premier League champions.
Nevertheless, an upswing in attitude and performance will be expected by Evertonians from their team after a woeful outing against Wolves.
With potential incomings being touted for January also, the Blues will hopefully have some fresh legs to bring into the squad and some much-needed new ideas.
This is the perfect opportunity for Lampard to get some form of imprint on this Everton side, time is running out for the former Chelsea boss to save his job.
Whether he’ll be given sufficient funds to do this remains to be seen and Everton’s tight-pursed-stringed owners haven’t given many hints that they will just yet, fans will have to keep their fingers crossed.
