Jordan Pickford Everton exit would be giant warning that Farhad Moshiri cash is running out
Jordan Pickford leaving Everton would be a giant warning that the club is running out of cash, according to journalist Paul Brown.
The Daily Mail revealed on December 27 that there are doubts over whether Pickford will extend his stay at Goodison Park with interest from Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea.
Brown confessed that the uncertainty surrounding Pickford isn’t helpful to anyone at Everton and they should be trying to tie him down to a new contract as quickly as possible with Farhad Moshiri not having an endless bucket of cash.

“I think the uncertainty is unhelpful to everyone. If Everton want Pickford to stay, they should get that done as quickly as possible. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t,” said Brown as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“If they were to sell Pickford, I think it would be a giant warning sign that they really are struggling for cash and that the ambitions might not be the same as they were.”

Foolish not to.
Everton would be foolish not to tie down the England international to a new and improved contract, he’s saved the team, literally, on countless occasions.
214 appearances and counting, Pickford deserves better than being thrown a dusty old contract and the club need to repay one of their best and most loyal talents.
Losing Pickford with no real replacement identified would be worrying, I mean who is even on the market in Everton’s price range that is better than the 28-year-old?
The answer is simply no one and selling him off to a Premier League rival would all but confirm the Blues’ ambitions moving forward.
With a new stadium on the way and a potentially exciting future, the club needs to do all it can to keep on to players like Pickford.
Pickford is set to enter the final 18 months of his agreement and if nothing is agreed upon soon, it’s likely he will be shown the door out of Goodison Park.
