Everton must take transfer punt on prolific teenager Elye Wahi
Everton must take a transfer punt on Montpellier forward Elye Wahi after the Merseyside club were linked with a move for the teenager by Mediafoot.
At 19 years old the forward is making a massive name for himself in Ligue 1 and is slowly but surely becoming one of football’s hottest new properties.
Football scout Jacek Kulig confessed that Wahi is one of the most “prolific” teenagers in Europe at the moment with seven goals and one assist in 18 games for Montpellier this season.
“19 years of age. One of the most prolific teenagers in Europe,” announced Kulig on Twitter.
With the Blues in dire need of signing a new fearsome forward, they could do much worse than taking a punt on the teenage starlet.

Attributes galore.
Wahi has all the attributes that Everton are craving right now, he’s an out-and-out forward with a knack for scoring goals and having a clinical eye.
He’s shown in Ligue 1 over the last few seasons that he can conjure a goal out of nothing, whether that be a volley, header or a simple tap-in, he’s already done it all.
The Blues desperately need a finisher in their ranks and Wahi is exactly that, he’s also dangerous from set pieces and dead ball play due to his menacing height.
Pace and athleticism are arguably the two best traits Wahi possesses but his tireless work rate and eagerness to help out defensively will also appeal to Frank Lampard
Goodison Park would be the perfect next step for the youngster to take in his career and he could blossom by taking the step up from Ligue 1 action to the Premier League.
With luck, Everton will make a concrete offer for the talented teenager soon.
